Preparation of Udacha Muttai Kulambu Recipe | Poached Egg Curry | Simple Egg Curry | Egg drop curry Step 1 Heat the Require Quantity of oil in a heavy-bottomed pan on a medium heat. When the oil is hot add Mustard and Zeera. Step 2 Once the Mustard and Zeera start to splutter add chopped onions along with curry leaves and saute for 2-3 minutes or until onions are translucent. Step 3 Add chopped tomatoes and Saute till oil separates, approx 2-3 mins on low-medium Flame or until the tomatoes are cooked and mushy. Add Required Quantity of Salt. The specialty of this recipe is we don't add boiled eggs to the curry as we always do instead we break open and pour the eggs directly into the curry and cook it. In our family members are like Muttai kulambu egg curry. Eggs are known as muttai in Tamil language while kulambu is a thin or thick consistency gravy or curry with well-balanced flavors.  Coconut is often used in most kulambu recipes.
