Preparation of Udacha Muttai Kulambu Recipe | Poached Egg Curry | Simple Egg Curry | Egg drop curry


Step 1

Heat the Require Quantity of oil in a heavy-bottomed pan on a medium heat. When the oil is hot add Mustard and Zeera.


Step 2
Once the Mustard and Zeera start to splutter add chopped onions along with curry leaves and saute for 2-3 minutes or until onions are translucent.


Step 3
Add chopped tomatoes and Saute till oil separates, approx 2-3 mins on low-medium Flame or until the tomatoes are cooked and mushy. Add Required Quantity of Salt.
Step 4
Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for a minute.


Step 5
Next add Coconut and Cashew Paste. Cook for 2 Minutes. 

Step 6
Add Turmeric, Red Chili, Chili powder, Chicken Masala and Mutton Masala. Mix it well.

Step 7 
Add 1 1/2 cups water and bring to a boil. 

Step 8
Reduce flame, we break open and pour the eggs directly into the curry and cook it. Now don't mix it.  And keep the Distance in each Broken Egg. Now place lid. Cook the Broken Egg in 5-6 mins.  Place lid and simmer till the gravy thickens. (Remember not to touch eggs or add water on top of the eggs.)

Step 9
Remove to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve with rice, chapati.
